I happened upon this song on youtube and I love it. Keep in mind it does include "ch" and "ll" but does not have "rr." All three of these double letters are no longer separate entry in the dictionary so I find it a little odd that two of them are included in the song. Also "v" is pronounced "uve" and the "w" is pronounced "uve doble." If you can get passed all that it is the most catchy Spanish alphabet song that I've heard. My 2.5 and 4 year old were starting to sing it after listening to it just once.
The pronunciation in correct. Elaine is right when she says that some countries pronounce letters differently. In this case, this song is sung with a Spanish accent from Spain. Hot Potato 'N Chile: The letter "rr" does not exists in Spanish. The only letter is "r". Sometimes it has a weak sound and sometimes a strong sound. Un saludo.
Love this! We enjoyed watching this!
ReplyDeleteLove this too. I have a 3 year old son that would love it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great! Now I wish I just knew if they had more like this. My 2.5 year old asks for this song.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this! And plan to use in my classroom, but it is missing the letter "rr."
ReplyDeleteThe Spanish Alphabet Marching song (found on youtube) is another great one that the kids love.
ReplyDeleteThe Spanish is pronounced wrong.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to be a little more specific then that. You have to remember that some countries pronounce certain letters differently than others.
